Title: Anatomy of a T-Rex, 2D Mixed Media/Collage
Anatomy of the T-rex, is a drawing study of the dissected body of a T-rex. Most diagrams only show skeletal features but I wanted to show the internal organs, skeletal features, and muscle structure. I was given the assignment to do a project based on an older artist, I decided to base my project on the work of Thomas Eakinss. To keep with the medical theme, I chose to do a dinosaur anatomical study. I chose dinosaurs because it is a special interest of mine. After deciding which dinosaur I should use, I began drawing the body cavity for the T-rex and then drew the body outline around it. I based my drawing off of books and other materials that I own. I used a label maker to create the diagram labels to resemble an anatomy text.
