Title: Field of Daisies, 2D Mixed Media/Collage
My intention of this art piece is I live in the country. Across the field we own a pond and all around the pond are tons of daisies! It is a really beautiful thing to see. It's very rare to see a field of daisies and that is one place I like to make memorable. The value and the depth of the flowers stems really show how far away they are. Also the value of the pedals and the middle of the flowers also show the roundness and the depth of the petals. I added some color to the flowers to give the effect of them coming to life more. The texture of the petals was soft, but to get the shape you can draw it so it looked like it was being rounded. The light source was very important. Some personal decision-making was really trying to find the depth and the roundness of the flowers. I discovered a lot with depth with this piece of artwork. I found a way to make the flowers come to life. I am really starting to see a lot in things that I used to not be able to see.
