Title: Tri-sided Vase, Crafts
No Image Available I wanted to build the biggest hand built pot in the class, and I have succeeded in doing so. When I started, I changed the way it looked three times. I changed ideas so many times, because, along with being the biggest, I also wanted the best looking pot in the class. After it was in the right shape and size, I thought that it was boring and needed a catchier look to it. I was inspired by an Egyptian painting which led to the circle design on this original hand built pot. I started to carve circles in it; one side following the other. For the finish, I used three different colors of glaze: Iron Red, Pewter and Tile Blue. I was worried about the glaze look, but, after the firing process, I was very happy with the result.
