Title: Pitcher, Crafts
My piece of art work is a hand built pitcher made of low fire red earthenware clay. I made this pitcher for a school project. I used a pookie to start the base off, and then continued the design with the coil method, and finished up the design of my pitcher with a unique handle. Then, to match the body of the pot, and its unique arc, I added a foot of a similar design. I glazed the inside of the pot with a clear glaze. The outside of my pot was glazed with a light blue glaze, and was later sprinkled with and iceberg glaze.
