Water Color Techniques
Instructor: Charlene Buescher

We will use a variety of interesting techniques to create your version of two unique paintings.

Exciting, juicy, happy accidents in colliding color will make a semi abstract and traditional homestead landscape. Get rich, bold, loose color and have some great fun.

Penny Rugs
Instructor: Sue Redman
Max. Registrants: 10 (3 Registered)
Penny Rugs:
Stitchery with wool/felt, wool and felt to create decorative mats. Each student will create their own decorative mat by choosing their colors, designing their shape and learning the blanket stitch. We will look at the history behind the rugs, and also at what modern day artists are doing with the craft.

Detailed Tie Dye
Instructor: Celeste Suter

This isn't your 70s tie dye! In this workshop you will learn a variety of tie-dying techniques. You will use the techniques to create unique masterpieces on silk scarves. Be prepared to play with color!

Additional scarves and dyes to dye in class or take home will be available for a small fee.

This is a messy workshop and you can bring an apron, but wear clothes you dont mind getting permanent dye on. Instructor will supply gloves but you can bring a set of well fitting kitchen gloves for extra protection. Colored fingers are common!

The Art of Drawing
Instructor: Michele Steffen
Max. Registrants: 16 (8 Registered)
Join professional freelance artist Michele Steffen for a day of portraiture, figure drawing and live model work using different mediums and papers. Drawing from life is an excellent way for artists to hone their drawing, accuracy, speed and observational skills. Students should bring two or three portrait or full body photos from which to work.

Beaded jewelry
Instructor: Erin Richards

Students will make bracelets and necklaces using a variety of beads and techniques
