The fine arts flourish at Westbrook Walnut Grove Schools. Each school presents a variety of dramatic and musical performances yearly. Fine arts classes in vocal and instrumental music, in drama and speech, and in the visual arts--painting, sculpting, drawing, photography, and video production, give students many opportunities to explore artistic responses to their world and learn about our artistic heritage. The annual Prairie Winds Fine Arts Celebration brings together experts is several artistic disciplines to work directly with students in intensive sessions. Last spring several Westbrook Walnut Grove High School students had the unique opportunity to work with Richard Lewis, a director/producer of the popular television series CSI, and produced short video stories. Below is a list of links to theater performance photos and a link to our fine arts events schedule.
