Special groups all meet as scheduled
Solos and Ensembles are practicing with great diligence, lots of goals to meet this week; attendance with Mrs. Knott is important.
Contest is in 4 weeks, concert is in 6
Tuesday:
Voice skills: Putting the complete singing package together, we continue to review how to 'use what you know' from all the year's learning
Wednesday:
Reading: We are continuing to work on intonation and reading intervals, multi-tasking
Thursday:
Repertoire: Bach: learn the third section in the minor key
Rodgers/Hammerstein: Tackle the second half of the piece
Israeli: work the words and dynamics, precision on the rhythms
Belafonte: Re work the second half of the song; rhythms and notes
Review contest music
Friday:
Music Analysis: Students still need to get in yellow sheets with the three analyses. We will start a new one on You'll Never Walk Along this week when the sub is here on Wednesday
