Monday:
finish the notes on the New Deal ERA. Students are to finish the worksheet due on Wed.

Assign reading: Primary source Testimony before the House Committee on Labor and Geography application: Presidential elections. Students are to hand in if completed in class or due on Wed.
Tuesday:
Students are to read pages 772-778 Dictators and War. They are to complete the Assessment 1, 3, 4, 5, 6 for Thursday

Students will read and discuss the dictators and militarist regimes that arose out of the 1930's and look at the responses by the British, French and Americans to these regimes.
Students are to read primary source Journey... and complete in class
Wednesday:
continue the notes on dictators and war

What are the characteristics of a totalitarian state?
What were the actions of the Soviet Union, Italy, Germany and Japan in the 1930'
Thursday:
Students are to read from isolation to involvement pages 779-786

What was the course of the early yeas of world war II in Europe. Students should be able to describe from the reading Roosevelt's foreign policy in the 1930's and the great debate between those that wanted to intervene and those that wanted to stay isolated.
