Ensemble Skills: Listen across the choir to different groups. Entertain lots of questions. Do solfege echo patterns
Rhythmic Literacy: Practice meter conducting with cut time and 6/8 Practice contrasting beat and rhythm. Use rote songs. Do echo patterns and also practice macro and micro beat and movement.

Songs: When the Train Comes Along, Happy Are They, River is Up, Ram Sam Sam
Tonal Literacy: Work with phrasing, styling, tonal contour. Use slates to outline, listen for minor and major

Do short phrases of notes in rote exercises, add hand signs on second day
Harmonic Literacy: Practice ostinatos with rote songs using sol and do and alternately la and mi for minor songs

Listening Analysis:
Listening to selves for contrast in phrasing. Experiment a lot
and ask a lot of questions
