Continue work with rote songs practicing meter, rhythm patterns, hand signs, phrasing.
Add harmonizing ostinatos that outline chords
Do some work with writing rhythms
Practice solfeggio syllables
Do one song with solfeggio hand signs (do-re-mi etc.)
Analysis Skills: Music-Listening
Listen for phrases, dynamics, repeating melodic patterns, moving patterns, rhythm patterns,
Listen for major and minor scale structures in rote songs we are practicing
