Argument models--read 280-285; what model does Etzioni's piece most closely follow (Classical, Rogerian, Toulmin)? Do a "STAR" analysis (an evaluation of source/evidence) of one of the five position papers (MLA formatted including works cited, at least a page in scope, cover the most important of the four evaluation criteria (sufficient, typical, accurate, reliable) not necessarily all, due Thursday end of day (Etzioni, Estrada, Statsky, Schneider, Hammond)

The position paper assignment--1750-2000 word scope, researched position paper, 25%, evaluation criteria: same as other papers, 1st draft due (for peer review the following day) Tuesday, 5/5; add an additional two sources to the annotated bibliography
