Figurative language--metaphor, simile, personification: definition; in groups, describe a picture using each in order.

The personal experience essay--definition, example; read "A Fateful Day", p.p. 56-58, do questions 3, 5.
Abstraction vs. concretenetss: do anger.

The personal experience essay--example; read "A Promise", p.p. 65-68, do question 6.

Read the guidelines, p.p. 58-59, which is the most important, why.

The Apostrophe--uses: contraction, possession, some plurals, do internet exercise (http://depts.dyc.edu/learningcenter/owl/exercises/apostrophes_ex3.htm).
