Profile project--goals: to deliver a new perspective, to deliver a (perhaps overlooked) significance, to entertain, to inform--a place, an activity, a person, an organization; elements: sensory details, quote/paraphrase/summary, definitions, anecdote, reflection, background, classify/compare/contrast; two organizational patterns: narrative, topical, blended; read 64-97 (skip the example essays you've read, but re-read Edge and read Coyne): respond--what's the story Edge tells as he profiles pig-lip production? (s), what's the dominent impression Edge makes with his description of pig lips (see bottom of p. 78) (p), respond to the last two orange bullets on page 95 (list for first bullet, paragraph for second bullet) and to the two purple bullets on page 96 (list for first bullet, paragraph for second bullet)
