Monday:
2nd grade- begin a study of the painting of Paul Klee. Talk about the type of paintings he produces then explain how we will do something like his work.
The students are given a 12x18 sheet of white paper and the choice of colors in 3 1/2 blocks, to be glued down 5 across and 3 down, the paper trimed and each block will be creatively decorated.
Tuesday:
Kind- The class will begin a unit on making an Indian like purse using brown paper, weaving, beads and feathers. good to have supplies ready ahead.
Wednesday:
1st grade- They need to have a day of board drawing. Choose at least 2 pieces to work on, the students will draw and color.
Thursday:
3rd grade- they will continue on their weavings. One maybe done this week. get out the weavings ahead of schuelde, check looms, and get out the yarn. Talk about yarn ediquette.
Friday:
4th- work on their wheel weaving. Warp looms with and for them.
