Intro to Shakespeare--short biography; a brief history of Rome; read "Julius Caesar" Act I, Scene 1-2 (to all exit except Cassius and Brutus), what's the argument between Flavius/Marullus and the people in the street?, why are Flavius/Marullus so angry?, what's the attitude of the people?, what affect do Flavius/Marullus have on the people?, what's their plan now?, what's Caesar reveal about himself when he stops to hear the Soothsayer?,
Tuesday:
Roman Systems project work.
Read "Julius Caesar" Act I, Scene 2; list the arguements Cassius uses to sway Caesar., why does Caesar fear Cassius?, what's Cassius mean when he say that he has the "falling sickness"?, list details of the public offered by Casca., what's Cassius plan to do at the end of the scene?, why?
Wednesday:
Review "Julius Caesar" Act I, Scene 2; read Act I, Scene 3; what events occur during the night that have astonished everyone?, what lines from Scene 2 do the events relate to?, where will Cassius "wear" his dagger if Caesar is named king?, what's the "honorable dangerous consequence"?, what advantage does Brutus bring to the enterprise?
Thursday:
Review "Julius Caesar"Roman Systems project work.

Friday:
Roman Systems presentations; reflections.
