Sentence elements/pronoun usage--list: verb, subject, direct object indirect object, predicate nominative, predicate adjective; using the questions to find the verb, subject, direct object, etc.;

verb: definition--the do'er or be'er, identification: what's happening or what's the verb?

subject: definition (noun or pronoun, never in prep phrase, identification, answers question who's doing it;

direct object: definition, identification
