Tuesday:
Reading: Comprehension-Listening to find the theme of the story.
Vocabulary: Germany, Israel, Mexico, pinata for BIRTHDAY JOY.
Vocabulary: admired, adopt, adorable, attention, custom, fuss, interesting, special, outfit, secretly for THE BEST OLDER SISTER.
High-Frequency: about, different, father, important, told
Wednesday:
Math: We will continue to count coins including the half dollar.
We will work with dollars also and be counting up to $2.00.

Social Studies: We will use our Scholastic News for current events.
Thursday:
Language: We will continue to work with adjectives.

Health: Our unit on nutrition will continue with Lisa Fest as our guest speaker.
Friday:
Science: We will identify tools used to measure weather conditions. We will check our predictions for January's weather and compare it to our pictograph.
We will compare and study three types of clouds-cumulous, cirrus and stratus.
