Week: 04/29/2002 Instructor: Debra Berg Academics
Spelling: We will study the "or" and "ore" sound. Basic List: store
corn, for, more, or, mornig, short, born, story, horn, *four, *your,
fish, game. Challenge words: afford, before
Math: We write and order multiples of one hundred to 900, identifying
hundreds, tens, and ones.
Reading: We will read the story "Ronald Morgan Watch Out". The vocab-
ulary is: snowflake, slid, snowman, windshield, wipers, frames, office,
reader, superkid, bounced. We will study the "ou" and "ow" sound as
in know and dough. We will review multiple meanings and digraphs oi
and oy.
Science: The students will recognize a force as something that pushes
or pulls on an object to make it move. They will identify that a force
is used to change the location of an object and the direction it is
Social Studies: We will look at the land forms of Mexico, make a map
showing the products of Mexico, and study our neighbors to the south.

English: We will continue to practice the play,"Bremen Town Musicans".
We will discuss what makes a paragraph and write a paragraph on our own.
