Grade Two 4th Q 01.02 Lesson Plans
Week: 05/13/2002 Instructor: Debra Berg Academics
Spelling: We will study words that end with "ed" or "ing". Basic
list: batted, running, clapped, stopped, getting, shopping, stepped,
hugging, pinned, stiitng, *missed, *telling, this, must. Challenge
words: jogging, flipped
Math: We will work on story problems.
Reading: We will review the vocabulary to "Treasure Hunt". The vocab-
lary: solve, mystery, figured, envelope, fountain,view, circle,
refreshment cart, courses, directions, festival, merry-go-round,
program, thirsty, tickets. We will predict outcomes, use context clues,
and study the sound of "aw' and "au".
Science: The students will explain what makes sound and identify
the body parts people use to make and hear sound. They will identify
sounds as being either loud or soft, high or low.

Health: We will begin the unit on the affect of drugs on our bodies.
English: We will continue our research paper on a marine animal.
We will review punctuation, capitalization, and sentence structure.
