Finish up on breath energy for articulation, intonation, and tone
Begin emphasis on text: focus on diction and vowels produced with resonance to convey meaning
Use mini listening sheets for formative assessments
Vocabulary words: articulation, intonation, and diction
Wednesday:
Music Reading Skills:
Continue singing in the Key of G, e minor
Practice dotted rhythms; reading, writing, hearing
Work on the chromatic scale and singing 5ths, review other intervals
Practice with mini formative assessment sheets
Vocabulary words: Major, minor, syncopation, chromatic
Thursday:
Music Analysis Skills:
Try out new form and analyze Ahrirang (Korean folksong)
Use it for I See the Light


Listening Analysis Skills:
