Week: 02/16/2015 Instructor: Constance Knott Academics
Concert is in 2 weeks. Students will need black pants, shoes.
Girls can wear black skirts, or leggings or a long black skirt with black shoes. The main objective is that from the waist down every student is completely black. They may choose a shirt or top of their choice, and color is preferred.
We are working hard on contest music. Large group contest is on March 11th.
Voice Skills:
We will focus heavily on word pronunciation and vowels; as well as consonant clear diction for the Latin and Welsh texts in our contest pieces
Literacy and Music Theory:
Continue singing in the Key of G
Sight singing in the key of A to coincide with Benedictus
Do theory/scale sheet for Benedictus

Finish the green music analysis sheet; hand in
Do a fair amount of listening to each other this week in small groups and analyzing what we hear relating to our concepts
