Effort and Participation Goals
Evaluation: Start vocabulary sheets, students get daily self evaluation charts, teacher will start task completion checkoff lists for the individual students
Rhythm Work/Drum Skills/Assessments: 3 Hand drum styles, use slates for writing rhythm patterns, create a 'bank' of useful patterns for composing, accompanying or improvising. Takadimi syllables.
Assess on Wednesday. Reading writing and playing
Work on some dictations
Guitar Skills: Memorize and practice am and em with two folk songs
Add strumming patterns

Vocabulary/Terminology: fret, strum, tuning pegs,
Note Reading Skills/Piano Skills: Students are in four groups for piano lessons. Two groups on Monday, and two groups on Wednesday. Practicing correct fingering for C scale in each hand. Some students can do both hands together

Composing: ABA form, plan phrasing, rhythms
