Hamlet--read around act 3, scene1 (the "to be" speech); discuss the metaphors, the depth of Hamlet's emotion; divide the speech into a dialog, rehearse, deliver, discuss


Thursday:
Independent Reading

Elizabethan life--prepare presentations, present

Hamlet--in groups of 2, divide the "to be" passage into dialog



Friday:
Hamlet--present dialogs, discuss; read 1.2 to Laertes exits: the pile of Hamlet's problems, the depth of the king's insults
