Read Act II--Who's Polonius? What's his plan? What is Rosen. and Guild. charged with? What's the queen mean when she tells Polonius, "More matter, with less art." What's their plan? Where's the big irony in Hamlet's speech to Rosen. and Guild.? What about the players upsets Hamlet so? What's Hamlet's big plan? Why does Hamlet, according to himself, need to have the big plan?
Tuesday:
Review Act II--parallel Polonius schemes, irony in Hamlet's speech to Rosen. and Guild., Hamlet's soliloquy.
Work time for word presentation.

Wednesday:
Word presentations.

Read Act III through the play scene.
Thursday:
Review Act III--Hamlet's conclusions.
Work time for "To be, or not to be" dialog project.
Read through Act III, Scene IV--What's the King's plan for Hamlet? What's Polonius's plan? What holds up Hamlet (this time)?
Friday:
Review Act III through Scene IV.
Work time for "To be, or not to be" dialog project.
Read through Act III--What sort of a deed is "rash and bloody"? What does Hamlet call his father? His uncle? How are Hamlet's words? What has Hamlet done to the queen's heart? What's Hamlet plan for Rosen. and Guild.?
