Monday:
Students will begin the globe activity. They will be given two class periods to work on the activity in class at this time. Students will have to determine if they are doing a physical or political globe. (physical is easier) They will have class time to begin coloring and how to put together. supplies needed by students are colored pencils and glue sticks (if they have them). They will need to work outside of class if they have not finished the color portion of the activity

Tuesday:

Wednesday:
Students are to read pages 40-43 Population patterns in places and regions.
Understand population distribution
To understand population density and patterns on Earth.
Thursday:
Discussion on the different regions of the world and the time zones they fall into.
Students should select one country of the world and compare its population patterns to its physical features.
Friday:
Students will bring their globe to class. They will finish putting it together in class and turn it in.
