What were the advantages and disadvantages for both the British and the Colonists

Students are to read 168-171
The American problems and defeats in the early years of the war.
Studetns will create a concept web in class on the Declaration of Independence
Key terms: garrison, radical, traitor, preamble, natural rights
Wednesday:
Using the information the students completed while watching the film they will take on the role of newspaper reporter interview with the delegates from the Continental Congress on one of the following topics:
==How and why the Declaration of Independence was written
==the origin and meaning of "natural rights: and how this concept is applied in the Declaration of Independence
==the conntents of the Declarationof Independence.
