Students will learn about slave life, religion, the Underground Railroad, slavery rebellions, and free blacks.
Wednesday:
Abolition
Frederick Douglass Activity
pages 373-375
Students will learn about abolition, famous abolitionists, and the United States' reaction to abolition. They will do an activity on Frederick Douglass.
Thursday:
Women's reform
pages 376-379
Students will learn about the women's sphere, education, Seneca Falls conventin, and women's rights.
Friday:
