Spanish 2 1st Q 13.14 Lesson Plans
Week: 09/16/2013 Instructor: Jenna Hafner Academics
Students will have 10 minutes to finish and practice their restaurant dialogues. Each group will present the dialogue to the class and turn in their script to be graded.

Mexico's Independence Day - Students will view a short presentation of the history of Mexico's independence and the "grito de independencia." They will have chips and salsa to celebrate and play "loteria"

HW: sopa de letras
Review "ir + a + infinitive" and do interview activity. Students will ask their classmates what they are going to do on different days of the week and record responses on chart. Watch telehistoria escena 3 and do previewing, viewing, and post viewing activities. Writing activity - we will listen to a short dialogue and write about it together. Students will practice forming sentences correctly in Spanish.

HW: students will write a paragraph about what they are going to do on the weekend using "ir + a + infinitive"
Life 101 period 3
Period 4 - Cultural Webquest. We will be using the laptop carts to look up information about Spain. Students may choose to research La Alhambra or El Prado and complete online worksheet about the place they choose. This will be their homework if they do not finish.

Review for test

Work time - students will have 40 minutes to work on the "Did you get it" review packet to help them review for the test. This packet will be the homework. Test tomorrow
