the tv news production workflow: preproduction--story brainstorming: short term/long term, working lead, resource need listing, research, lead writing, story drafting/paragraphing (inverted pyramid), editing;

tv news show scripting: intro to show, lead-in's to stories, follow up's to stories, ad placement and intro/follow up, conclusion, credits

tv news shooting script (a subset of the tv news script): camera effects (zooms/pans), virtual sets/mixed effects, media players for voice over/graphics and stories, lower 3rd's, automations

tv news studio set up--audio set up, pull key/light set up, upload script to teleprompter, connect iPad to iPhone, set up director/stage manager comms;

production--the director directs the technical director, the special effects director, and the stage manager (who directs the talent);

video--behind the scenes (14min)

News story writing--the lede: definitions: the five W's plus H, stuffed, starting with the most important detail, easy to edit, find five examples in newspaper articles lede writing;
