Monday:
Math: We join two groups together to find how many in all. We write an addition sentence. Vocabulary used add, join, in all, plus, equals, addend, sum, addition sentence. We identify the main idea of a math story problem.
Tuesday:
Spelling/Phonics: We will study the short a sound and spelling. We will work with rhyming words.
Wednesday:
We will work with vocabulary for "Franny and Ginny" and " "Daddy Could I Have an Elephant?" We will alphatize words, write sentences and play a game with the words.
Thursday:
Language: We will work with Daily Oral Language sentences---correcting errors. We will talk about complete sentences.

Handwriting: We will practice the numbers; our first and last names.
Friday:
Health/Science: We will discuss what makes people special and the feelings we experience.

Social Studies/Science: We will discuss wetlands and one of the inhabitants -the amphibian. We will discuss the characteristics of an amphibian and the wetlands. We will work as a team when studying about these concepts.
