

Monday:

Math: We will solve a story problem by writing an addition sentence. We will take away a number of objects from a group and count to find how many are left. We will compare two groups to find out how many more or how many fewer. Students will subtract sentences to solve both separation and comparison problems. 
Tuesday:

Phonics: Students will review the short vowel soound of a, i, u; the initial l, r, s blends will be reviewed also.
Spelling: bat, that, fit, this, cub, jug, could, have, flag, slip 
Wednesday:

Reading: We will read "Franny and Ginny" and "Daddy, Could I Have an Elephant?" Skills: predictions and listening comprehension 
Thursday:

English: categorizing, complete sentences
Handwriting: U,u and L,l 
Friday:
