'Phonics: We will study rcontrolled vowels such as or, ore, oor, our: reflected endings ed, es.
Spelling: corn, door horse, more, pour, store, brought, picture, hurries, cried 
Tuesday:

Reading: We will read" Four Clues For Chee" and "Young Cam Jansen and the Dinosaur Game". Vocabulary: bring, brought, next, picture, read, pours, echo, canyon, breath, fingers, amazing, musical, camera, memory, order, dinosaurs, chocolate, invitation, exact Comprehension: We will study character traits. 
Wednesday:

Language: We will study correct verb tenses, table of contents and chapter titles and writing a lead sentence. Handwriting: We will review manuscript printing and talk about spacing words. 
Thursday:

Math: We will add a multiple of 10 to a twodigit number and see that itchanges only the tens digit of that number. Add a onedigit number to a two digit number using models or mental math. When adding 2 two digit numbers, you may or may not have enough one altogether to make another ten. An estimate of a twodigit sum can be made by adding the tens and then deciding whether the ones will increase the sum beyond the next multiple of 10estimate, 
Friday:

Science and Health: Begin unit on habitats.
Social Studies: Land forms
