Educational Background Courses
I graduated from Monroe High School in St. Paul in 1975. After a three year stint in the Army, I attended the University of Minnesota in Duluth. After two years there I traveled to Austria where I attended the university in Salzburg for a semester. I returned to the Twin Cities and graduated from the University of Minnesota-Minneapolis in 1985. In 1991 I received a grant to study Chaucer at an NEH Seminar in Geneseo, New York. In 1993 I received another to study Shakespeare at the Folger Shakespeare Library in Washington, D.C. In 2000 I received my master's degree from St. Mary's University. English 10

Interests Coaching Positions
I like to travel in the Boundary Waters. I like to read books and sometimes write stories. I have two kids who are pretty darn nice. My wife Torild is pretty nice, too.
