Title: So Real ism, 2D Mixed Media/Collage
This works consists of my hands molded from hand molding process, placed upon surrounding wood and border. I used multiple wood tools to construct the object. I used spray paint and acrylic paint to fashion the colors as well a wood carving tool to do the edges of the marionettes. The figures are white against the black background to create contrast. The work is meant display a nightmare I had that I was put into a situation where I could not save a family from a terrifying monster. The dream stuck with because it was so vivid. I had powers to save the family but they were being controlled and I could do nothing to save them. From this work I learned that I could not control other peoples feelings. I will keep this work in my room to remind myself to be my best and and even though I can save everyone I will still do my best to make a difference.
