Activities at the Elementary
May 4-8
Staff and students are decorating the doors, bulletin boards, and walls. Fourth and fifth-graders started stenciling quilt blocks to make two patriotic quilts. (Karla Gunderman will be sewing them together) The students will tie and knot the layers together.
May 11-15
4-6th Graders are decorating wagons for the parade. They will be pulling their younger siblings in Kindergarten and First grade.
May 20
Family Day within the elementary school. Students will gather in the gym and sing Happy Birthday, work on patriotic collaborative posters, puzzles, and birthday cake.
May 21
Parade starting at 2:00 pm. PUBLIC WELCOME The parade will start at the elementary school and go down Main Street. We will stop downtown, and the 5th graders will perform the Pledge of Allegiance. After the parade, there will be a short musical program. All elementary students (except Preschool) will be in the parade.
